This week I swam with sea turtles and rays in the Caribbean Sea and saw lots of pelicans and iguanas. I have been to mayan ruins in the jungle and by the sea, walked to the top of the 2nd tallest pyramid in the Yucatan Peninsula at a sacred site called Coba (it’s called Nohoch Mul or The Great Mound), swam in a lagoon with lots of beautiful fish and also swam in a cenote (a cenote is a natural pit,or sinkhole resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath) when it was raining cats and dogs whilst tiny fish were nipping my fingers. I love Mexico!
Great blog – you have done so much already!
