Amazing Andamans Part 1

So far in my 13 years I’ve been twice to the Andaman islands. The coral seemed much healthier the first time we went. We also didn’t see as much the first time as we were not there as long. We visited Port Blair on the South Andaman island  (which for some weird reason we don’t have any pictures of). In Port Blair people mainly speak Nicobarese. Apart from that, the residents of Port Blair speak Hindi, Bengali, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil. Port Blair is the capital of the Andamans.

We also explored Havelock island and did a snorkelling trip where we visited John Lawrence island for an hour or so and some other small islands where no one lives. There are only so many islands you can visit out of the 572 (about) islands as most are either protected or inhabited by the local tribes. This group of islands are closer to Thailand (599 mi away) than they are to India (1,069 mi away) of which they belong to.
